New power lines
LAGLASSE & OMHOVERE also provides underground power line development and conversion services to its clients – and in doing so, helps them fulfil the current policy of undergrounding more High Voltage and Ultra High Voltage power lines.
Topographic studies :
- Compiling georeferencing files
- Defining worksite procedures and constraints (technical and safety aspects) including mark-out plans for worksite areas, contacting utilities providers and highways management, and works scheduling.
- Photoreporting
- Environmental, economic, and social impact studies
- Declarations of Works formalities
- Supplementary investigations to check the precise locations of existing networks
- Topographic surveys
- Drafting technical documentation (longitudinal profiles, statistical designs, plot plans, standard cross-sections, unwinding plans, wire pull efforts, etc.)
- Tree clearing
Geotechnical studies (in liaison with specialist consultants)
- Qualitative phase
- Quantitative phase
- Electrical and thermal resistivity
- PAH and asbestos detection
- Studies for routes beneath structures and landscape features
Administrative studies
- Compilation and oversight of administrative dossiers
- Contractual arrangements (identification of owners, details of agreements, official registration of easements)
We use specific software developed in-house for High Voltage and Ultra High Voltage lines, together with ERAS and other software for Medium and Low Voltage, providing 3-D design capability for all projects.
Georeferencing
In view of damage prevention order legislation, operators need to become increasingly familiar with their assets in order to be able to supply Class A plans (accurate location data). We can help you prepare the relevant updates to your documentation.
We also support works contractors by compiling as-built plans (surveying and document updates) that comply with georeferenced network certification standards.
